Dear Burnaby Parents and Caregivers,
It takes a village to raise a child, and as our school year is fast coming to an end, we wanted to thank you all for supporting our students and schools. Attending school events, participating in fundraisers, and volunteering to help in so many different ways, all contribute to making our schools and communities a positive, nurturing environment for all our children. We also wanted to thank everyone working in our school district, including our teachers, EAs, custodians, office/support/maintenance staff, administrators, and all staff, for their ongoing dedication.
We have been busy making changes at our Burnaby District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) and look forward to better connecting, supporting, and collaborating with our school PACs. Before we start our summer holidays, we wanted to share some important information and reminders:
1. New PAC Executive Contact list – please email us at info@burnabydpac.com to give us the names and emails of your school’s DPAC Representative and alternate.

We have included some information/presentation slides as a resource and reminder to help guide parents in ensuring their school’s PAC is inclusive and running well. Please take a few minutes to review them.

Wishing you and your families a very safe and happy summer!
With appreciation and best wishes from your DPAC Executive Committee,
