At the DPAC meeting Feb 23, it was unanimously decided to postpone the March DPAC general meeting to allow more comprehensive budget discussions.
Due to Spring Break, many Burnaby schools are not holding a PAC meeting in March. By postponing the meeting, DPAC reps will be able to consult with their school PAC with updated information and bring this feedback to the DPAC general meeting for discussion. Postponing the meeting will also allow the district to present completed financials and projections based on the Ministry announcement of the 2015/16 Preliminary Operating Grant.
The meeting has be rescheduled to April 13.
